MADRID -- Madrid-Waddington Elementary School, 2582 State Highway 345, will host a Scholastic Book Fair Nov. 17-20 at the elementary library.
The fair will be open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Nov.17 and 18, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov.19 and 20. Funds raised will help purchase books for the school library and elementary classroom libraries.
The fair offers specially priced books and educational products, including popular series, award-winning titles, new releases, adult bestsellers, and other reads from more than 100 publishers.
Book Fair customers may help the school build classroom libraries by purchasing books through the Classroom Wish List program.
The fair will feature the All for Books program, where kids can share the thrill of reading by donating loose change to purchase books from the fair for fellow students at Madrid-Waddington.
Scholastic matches monetary donations with a donation of up to one million books, which go to national non-profit organizations dedicated to helping families in need.
The book fair is hosted by the Madrid-Waddington Elementary PTO.
