MASSENA -- Sandy's Steps to Edge Out ALS hosts their fourth annual 5k walk/run Saturday, May 20.

The race begins at 11 a.m. at Robert Moses State Park. The fee for those who register by May 5 is $20 for adults and $10 each for children 12 and under. Those pre-registered participants will receive an event T-shirt.

Race day registration is $25 per person, and T-shirts will be available on a first-come first-served basis.

Registration re-opens at the park on the day of the event at 10 a.m.

Water will be provided for all entrants. Baked goods will be available for purchase. Hamburgers, hotdogs and homemade French fries will be available for purchase from Whinee Wieners.

Other features include a 50/50 raffle and a Chinese auction.

Race prizes will be awarded for fastest time, male and female, ages 14 and older; fastest time ages 8 to 13); fastest time ages 7 and under.

A grand prize will be awarded for the person with the highest individual sponsorship.

Sponsorship money must be turned in at the registration table before the race.

Pets and bicycles are not allowed.
