The St Lawrence County Mountain Bike Association, Inc. (SLMBA) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to create, enhance and preserve great trail experiences for mountain bikers in the county, and to create a bicycle friendly community through cycling awareness, safety advocacy and promotion of bicycling for fun, fitness and transportation.

In the past four years SLMBA has grown to 25 members. Under the supervision of county and state foresters, SLMBA has constructed and now maintains approximately 30 miles of trails in the Downerville Sate Forest, High Flats/Seven Springs State Forest and now in St. Lawrence County Forest, east of the Lenny Road in the towns of Colton and Parishville.

The organization has volunteered over 650 hours of maintenance on existing trails in the same three areas. SLMBA practices sustainable trail building techniques promoted by the International Mountain Bike Association.
