RUSSELL -- The Russell Opera House will host The Grass Transit Saturday, May 18 at 7 p.m.
The Grass Transit plays a variety of music in bluegrass style. Most selections include three-part harmony and are accompanied by mandolin, banjo and bass.
Band members include Norwood resident Rick Williams and Russell residents Lee and Ken Alger.
A donation to the opera house restoration fund will serve as admission. Light refreshments will be served and a 50/50 raffle will be held.
The opera house is located in the Russell Town Hall. For more information contact Tess Eells at 347-2358.
