All proceeds from the event will benefit the mission of Clarkson University's Students without Borders.
Clarkson University's Student Without Borders is a student-run organization created by Clarkson University's physician assistant students as an effort to organize a health mission trip to the Dominican Republic to provide healthcare to under-served communities.
The students have traveled to the Dominican Republic each year for a week to set up a health clinic. This 1- to 2-week clinic, is sometimes the only healthcare available to local residents, other than a single traveling doctor who covers thousands of patients in the surrounding areas. The students bring all medical supplies and medications they will use on the trip, as well as a few gifts for the local children and clothing for the local residents.
Entry cost is $30, or $20 with student ID.
The fee includes a tee shirt and swag bag.
Online registration includes free raffle submission.
Payment will be accepted on the day of the race. Cash, checks (made payable to: Clarkson University, memo: SWOB), and credit will all be accepted.
This year's theme is Super Heroes! Come dressed up as your favorite super hero.
