CANTON -- Helen Condon will offer a two-part rug braiding class at The TAUNY Center, 53 Main St., Saturday, April 28, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday, April 29, from noon to 4 p.m.
An experienced rug-braider, Condon will provide all materials and instruction necessary to braid a 2½- by 4-foot oval rug. Cost is $100 or $80 for TAUNY Friends, plus $150 for materials.
Participants may select a color scheme in advance by choosing from options on Condon’s website, adirondackrugbraiding.com, and contacting TAUNY with their choice. Pre-registration and payment in advance are required by calling 386-4289 or emailing programs@tauny.org.
