POTSDAM -- Nurse Anne Giromini, who is also the patient navigator at Canton Potsdam Hospital's Center for Cancer Care, will speak to community members from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 13 in Conference Rooms A&B.
Giromini will describe the role of a patient navigator, especially at the time of a cancer diagnosis, when patients may have questions about their treatment plans and appointments.
The event is free and open to the public and light dinner will be served. Reservations are required by Wednesday, Oct. 12.
