Robert Moses State Park Campground offering summer programs July 3 - 5

MASSENA – Several programs will be held at the beach pavilion at Robert Moses State Park Campground this weekend, open to visiting campers, as well as the public.

Saturday, July 3: Make a tie-dyed t-shirt will be offered from 2:30-3:30 p.m. and 4-5pm. Participants will make bright, permanent tie-dye T-shirts. The fees will be: Children’s sizes - $8 if you bring a 100% cotton t-shirt, $10 to buy one to dye. Adult sizes - $10 if you bring a t-shirt & $12 to buy one to dye. Please call the Nature Center at 764-5498 to pre-register for this program, or stop by and sign-up during recreation programs at the pavilion.

Woodcarving Demonstration from 1-4 p.m. Area Artist, Ron Riley will demonstrate woodcarving. Ron carves everything from wood to sweet potatoes. He has been teaching woodcarving for many years at the Nature Center as well as throughout the state.

Fun Holiday Programs will be scheduled hourly from 1-5 p.m. in the recreation room at the beach pavilion. Nature games and craft programs will be held for children aged 7-12 years. Children under the age of 7 are required to have an adult with them. These programs are free-of-charge.
