This is the first of monthly Skill-Sharing, Bulk Food Fiesta & Make-n-Take Gatherings, to be held in alternating venues mainly around St. Lawrence County
Food prep begins at 5, with a shared meal at 6:30 p.m., and continuous cooking until all is done.
There will also be a brief annual meeting presentation for the Local Living Venture.
The event is free and open to the public, though donations are appreciated to promote the LLV's workshop programs.
This event is among several skills- and hobby-based sharing and learning opportunities designed by the regional Local Living Venture.
New and upcoming events include a monthly gathering for people interested in homesteading and the simple life with a new site being toured each month; a new Orchard Exchange Discussion group which is based on the Bees & Beekeeping Discussion Group; and the continued Resourceful Living Skills Workshop series; and an upcoming "Pruning Your Apple Trees" workshop.
