RICHVILLE -- The Richville Volunteer Fire Department is celebrating their 100-year anniversary on Aug. 16.
A parade will start at 4 p.m. at the top of the hill on the Gouverneur side of Richville and end at the Richville Baptist Chapel.
Live music will come from Alternative Motive and Juggernaut Agenda. Food will be catered by Mullin's Restaurant of Gouverneur and Mr. Dingaling ice cream.
Fireworks will follow at 9:30 p.m.
Food will be served at the church parking lot. Music and fireworks will be at Fenlong's field across the street.
All events are free.
The fire department will sell tickets for a 50/50 drawing and a "Celebration" raffle, to be drawn at the close of festivities. Prizes include $100 cash, a gas card and a Price Chopper gift card.
