POTSDAM – The Potsdam Public Library will host the livestream “Reverse Global Warming: Project Drawdown” on Friday, Oct. 19, from 7:30-9:30 p.m.
With a modest budget and little fanfare, a group of 200 scientists and researchers mapped and modeled the 100 most effective ways to draw down greenhouse gas emissions.
The Drawdown team did the math to calculate what humanity can achieve with tools already in use around the globe.
Join Project Drawdown executive director Paul Hawken and the Drawdown team in the critical effort to reverse global warming.
This overview presentation with Paul Hawken will be followed by a panel discussion with the Project Drawdown team, including updates on what's emerged since Drawdown was published last year -- the partnerships, ideas, community organizing, Drawdown hubs, and more.
The livestream is free to attend.
