RENSSELAER FALLS -- Indian Creek Nature Center hosts a program on wild fruits Saturday, Sept. 8 starting at 9:30 a.m.
Most of us can easily recognize common wild fruits like apples, but can you distinguish between chokeberries and chokecherries, Aronia and Clintonia, fox grapes and Virginia creeper?
They will look at wild fruits like these and the plants that produce them, and discuss their importance in wildlife survival.
The session will be led by Don O’Shea, 393-5137.
