RENSSELAER FALLS – The Rensselaer Fall Fire Department Fire Safety Fun Day will be held Oct. 26 from 2 to 5 p.m. at 424 Rensselaer St. Participants can meet firemen and check out fire trucks.
All kids will receive a goody bag with home fire safety information.
There will be a coloring contest for ages two to 12 and the first 30 families will receive a smoke detector with a 9-volt battery.
A presentation about proper escape plans will be from 3 to 3:30 p.m. and fire truck rides will run from 4 to 5 p.m., weather permitting. Apple cider and cookies will be available.
