POTSDAM -- Renowned author Paul Loeb will visit SUNY Potsdam for a lecture and book signing Wednesday, Oct. 15 at 7 p.m. in the Helen M. Hosmer Concert Hall at SUNY Potsdam's Crane School of Music.
The editor of "The Impossible Will Take a Little While: A Citizen's Guide to Hope in a Time of Fear," Loeb will speak to freshmen, as part of the College's First-Year Success Seminar.
Loeb has spent more than 30 years researching and writing about citizen responsibility and empowerment, asking what makes some people choose lives of social commitment, while others abstain.
