POTSDAM -- Farm operators and land owners are invited to a renewable energy lease workshop hosted by St. Lawrence County Agricultural and Farmland Protection Board Monday, Nov. 13, from 6:30-8 p.m. at the municipal building, 18 Elm St.
Property owners who may lease their land to host large-scale solar arrays or wind turbines are invited to hear about general provisions to address in a lease, and potential land impacts to consider, and the importance of seeking legal counsel.
Scott B. Goldie, attorney with Conboy, McKay, Bachmann & Kendall LLP; Matilda Larson, county planning office; and Madeline Pennington, former Cornell Cooperative Extension executive director will be the presenters.
