Remington Museum's Kid's Place announces summer activities

OGDENSBURG – Kid’s Place, the interactive center for children at the Frederic Remington Art Museum, 303 Washington St., has announced activities scheduled for the next few weeks.

• Toddler Time, every Wednesday from 9:30 – 11 a.m.; time at Kid’s Place reserved for the younger set; call Kid’s Place 393-2425

• Puppet Show in the Garden, Wednesday, July 21 at 11 a.m.; Ogdensburg Public Library and Kid’s Place; free; call Kid’s Place 393-2425

• Art Workshop at Kid’s Place, Leigh Chapman, local art teacher, presents St. Lawrence River Art, Thursday, July 22, 1 – 3 p.m.; cost $10; ages 6 years and up; call Kid’s Place 393-2425

• Learn How to Press Flowers at Kid’s Place, the Junior Garden Club presents a workshop on the preservation of flowers, Monday, July 26 from 2 – 4 p.m.; free; call Kid’s Place 393-2425

• Be Creative in the Park, Wednesday, Aug. 4, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., Ogdensburg Public Library and Kid’s Place present Jim Durr, local storyteller; crafts, refreshments, sidewalk chalk, face painting; call Kid’s Place 393-2425
