OGDENSBURG -- The Frederic Remington Art Museum will hold the eight annual International Juried Art Exhibit beginning Sept. 21.
The exhibit is open to adult artists living within 100 miles of Ogdensburg.
Two-dimensional and three-dimensional works made within the last two years, including paintings, prints, drawings, sculpture, ceramics, photographs, computer generated art and mixed media are eligible.
Two-dimensional work must not exceed 36” wide by 72” high. Sculpture must not exceed 60” high by 24” wide and deep.
Up to three digital files will be accepted with a $10 entry fee for museum members, $20 for non-members.
The submission deadline is Aug. 14.
Canadian artist Susan Ashbrook will serve as juror.
Ashbrook studied oil painting at Mount Allison University in New Brunswick, Canada and graduated as a commercial artist from Algonquin College in Ottawa.
She has experience in the fields of advertising, publishing, trade exhibits and designing and building parade floats.
