OGDENSBURG -- The Frederic Remington Art Museum is hosting a "Tai Chi. Taste. Tie Dye." event at the Dobisky Visitors’ Center, 100 Riverside Avenue on Jan. 13 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The event includes materials, wine tasting, refreshments and an introductory tai chi class.
Cost is $25 if paid online and includes one white logo shirt or $20 for those bringing their own shirt to tie dye. If paying at the door, the cost is $25. Shirts will be available as supplies last event day or you are welcome to bring your own. Space is limited.
The event starts at 6 p.m. lead by Sean Boutin of North Country Tai Chi. This is an introductory class for beginners but all levels of experience are welcome.
At 7 p.m., Bella Brooke Winery will give a wine tasting demonstration. Wine will also be sold by the bottle and glass. Light refreshments will be served. At 7:30, p.m. participants will have the opportunity to do some easy-to-do tie-dye patterns. All supplies are included.
