OGDENSBURG -- The Frederic Remington Art Museum, 303 Washington St., opens its 35th Annual Elementary Art Exhibit with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 3 The reception is free and open to the public.
The reception offers a chance to celebrate art education, meet young artists, and some of their teachers.
The exhibition includes work by elementary students from schools throughout the North Country, including Clifton-Fine Central School, Colton-Pierrepont Central School, Hammond Central School, Hermon-DeKalb Central School, Heuvelton Central School, Immaculate Heart Central School, Lisbon Central School, Massena Central School, Morristown Central School, Ogdensburg Central School, Parishville-Hopkinton Central School, and St. Lawrence Central Elementary School.
During the reception, the museum will be open for visitors to explore while dedicated staff and docents are on hand for questions and answers.
The Elementary Art Exhibit will be on display in the Richard E. Winter Gallery at the Frederic Remington Art Museum through May 13.
