MASSENA – The local Relay for Life effort will hold two meetings Wednesday, May 8, one at 5:30 p.m. and one at 7 p.m., at the Meals on Wheels building, E. Hatfield St.
Individuals interested in volunteering or signing up a team should attend the meeting.
The 5:30 p.m. committee meeting is for those interested in volunteering. The 7 p.m. meeting is for those thinking of signing up a Relay for Life team.
To register for the Relay for Life run planned for June 7 at 6 p.m. visit www.relayforlife.org/massenany. Any community members can create a team with as few as one person.
Last year’s walk involved a total of 33 teams and 389 participants who raised $74,305, and the Massena committee hopes to surpass those numbers this year.
