POTSDAM – Master Frank Palumbo of American Kang Duk Won Karate will lead Art of Karate, a family safety program, Thursdays from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the St. Lawrence County Arts Council’s downtown Snell Hall studio.
The course, for adults and their children, will run for 10 weeks, taught in a respectful and controlled manner. Emphasis will be on fitness, anti-bullying, self-defense, awareness, self control, positive behaviors, and cooperation.
Everyone is welcome to try a class. Registrations will be on Sept. 29 and Oct. 6. The fee for 10 weeks of lessons is $75; family rates are also available.
