The league is open to all boys and girls in grades pre-K through 6. The fee is $50 per player, with a $5 discount for each additional player in the same family.
The pre-season starts the week of April 2. Indoor “skills and drills” sessions will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays the first three weeks of April, and are detailed in the calendar at www.potsdamlax.com.
Practices for all teams, boys and girls, will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday and Wednesdays at SUNY Potsdam starting April 30.
Al players will receive a t-shirt with a paid registration. Required equipment includes, for girls, a girl’s stick, goggles, mouth guard, and pinnie, and for boys, a boy’s stick, helmet, gloves, elbow pads, shoulder pads, mouth guard, pinnie, and it is recommended that the boys wear a protective cup. Hockey helmets are fine up through fourth-graders, but for players older than that, a lacrosse helmet is required. Pinnies may be purchased for $20 during online registration. You do not need to buy a pinnie if you have one from a previous year.
