POTSDAM – Registration is open for the “Dig In! Food and Garden Conference,” March 19 at Clarkson University, sponsored by the St. Lawrence County Health Initiative, Cornell Cooperative Extension St. Lawrence County, GardenShare, Clarkson, Sustainable Living Project, UShare and WorkWell Investments.

The conference will offer information, inspiration and resources to develop and strengthen food-based projects at the organizational level. Dig In! will focus on organizational-level programs and practices, promoting cultural and environmental change that positively affects many individuals.

The conference is intended for school staff, parents, business owners and employees, community leaders, residents, and health and food-focused professionals. Those who grow, prepare, market, eat, compost, educate or set policy about food are encouraged to attend.

Sessions will address topics in four tracks: schools, worksites, retail and restaurants, and communities.
