NORWOOD -- Paid healthcare clerical support training will be offered at the Norwood BOCES, 7225 State Highway 56, May 27 through Aug. 22.
This course is available to WIA eligible individuals ages 17-21.
The program covers full class tuition of $1,900 plus textbooks, CPR and First Aid and also includes a paid training wage of $8 per hour.
Participants will be in class about 8 to 12 hours per week.
Paid internships will also be offered.
Training will include office technology and medical-associated knowledge, which will prepare graduates for employment opportunities in the field of healthcare clerical support.
