POTSDAM -- SUNY Potsdam will host its first-ever “Home for the Holidays Open House” Monday, Dec. 22, in the College's Rebecca V. Sheard Literacy Center, located in Satterlee Hall.
The open house will bring together educational opportunities and application assistance, in a festive atmosphere with treats and raffle prizes.
There will be two sessions: Session 1 will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Session 2 will be offered from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Free online registration is required at potsdamholidaysevent.eventbrite.com.
Each session will include a welcome, breakout information sessions, information tables, application assistance, registration support and financial aid information.
The open house will feature information about: undergraduate and transfer options; graduate programs and courses; Winterim and summer session courses and non-credit courses.
Participants should bring their high school or college transcripts to receive instant non-degree admissions decisions, and register for Winterim or Spring 2015 courses on the spot.
The Home for the Holidays Open House is hosted by the SUNY Potsdam Office of Undergraduate Admission, the Office of Transfer Admission, the Center for Graduate Studies, the Office of Extended Education and the Center for Lifelong Education and Recreation (CLEAR).
