BRIER HILL -- The Black Lake Fish and Game Club is hosting their second Chippewa Creek Crawl mud and obstacle event June 4 at 11 a.m. at the club, 1 Gilmour Road.
The course will include a 1.4-mile family friendly course including a mud crawl, natural obstacles, tire trench and wall climb.
This is a non-competitive fun race for families and people looking to be challenged and get outside.
For those looking for a bit more, there will be a 5K course that also includes a mud crawl and several obstacles.
New this year will be a cargo net wall, a slip and slide and an extra swamp crawl, all included on both courses.
Both courses start and end at the club.
Registration fee for each race is $10 adults, $5 youth ages 7 to18 and free for ages 6 and under with a registered adult.
Also available is a $30 family rate.
Race shirts will be sold at a cost of $10 each.
They are only guaranteed to those who register by May 17.
Race day registration starts at 10 a.m. at the club and will stay open until noon. Those registered in advance get first wave slots.
The race will begin in waves starting at 11 a.m.
A post-race food concession stand will be available.
