POTSDAM -- Bestselling regional author Matthew J. Glavin will speak and sign books at the Potsdam Public Library Wednesday, May 8 at noon and 7 p.m.
Glavin is the author of “Adirondack Treasure; The Bonaparte Legacy,” which tells the story of a legend that has circulated in the Adirondacks for more than 180 years. Joseph Benton has a 200-year-old bible handed down from his famous ancestor Joseph Bonaparte, the former King of Spain and older brother to Napoleon. Inside the bible is a cipher that family legend says leads to a magnificent treasure stolen.
