Red Cross to host blood drives in Hammond, Ogdensburg, Parishville, Star Lake in March

Red Cross will host four upcoming blood drives.

All blood types are needed.

A blood donor card or driver’s license or two other forms of identification are required at check-in.

People who are 17 years of age (16 with parental consent in some states), weigh at least 110 pounds and are in generally good health may be eligible to donate blood.

High school students and other donors 18 years of age and younger also have to meet certain height and weight requirements.

• Ogdensburg, March 3, 8 a.m. - 2 p.m., Ogdensburg Free Academy, 1100 State St.

• Parishville, March 14, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m., Parishville-Hopkinton Central School

• Star Lake, March 8, 11:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Clifton-Fine Central School, 11 Hall Ave.
