POTSDAM -- Reachout of St. Lawrence County is seeking for volunteers as telephone crisis counselors for its 24-hour crisis intervention and informational hotline.
The hotline is free and provides free nonjudgmental listening services to residents of the North Country.
Prior experience is not required. Training will be provided from Oct. 3 through Oct. 5.
Applicants must be 18 years of age, have reliable transportation, have at least five hours weekly to volunteer, be able to commit to one year of service and available for training.
