NORWOOD – Walkers are needed to participate in the Norwood-Norfolk Walk-A-Thon to benefit Raquette Valley Habitat for Humanity 2 p.m. Sunday, May 6.
Registration is at 1 p.m. at the Norwood Methodist Church, 10 Prospect St.
Refreshments will be served and t-shirts will be awarded to the top ten fundraisers immediately following the walk.
Habitat houses provide homes to needy families. All homeowners are required to provide sweat equity and pay back an interest-free loan. Volunteers supply the management and labor.
