POTSDAM -- Tractor Supply hosts a Pet Appreciation Day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at the store, U.S. Rt. 11.
Among the organizations to be represented are:

• FFA (Future Farmers of America)
• Bows and Bandanas
• Northern New York Poultry Fanciers
• St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department Canine Unit and Children’s’ ID booth
• miniature horse petting corral
• Spay/Neuter Now information booth
• Dames for Danes Great Dane rescue
• Rosies Hawg Dog hot dog stand
• The Potsdam Humane Society.
Tractor Supply Company says it was responsible for more than 2,000 adopted pets during the chain-wide pet appreciation event in 2011.
