NORWOOD -- The Village Green Concert Series will host a “Top it off – Raise the Roof” benefit concert Saturday, Oct. 13 at 7 p.m. at the Norwood municipal building.
The concert will feature Tas Cru aka Rick Bates accompanied by Chip Lamson, Geoff Hayton, and Mary Ann Casale and Andy Van Duyne. The concert will conclude with Casale’s blues-based “No Place to Hide,” performed by all five entertainers.
The concert will be held to offset a cost over-run on the recent Village Green band shell renovations, completed Aug 10. Renovations to the shell included a new roof, acoustic panels, restroom upgrades, extensive painting, security cameras, a security gate, and new steel doors.
Admission will be $10. Advance tickets can be purchased at Northern Music and Video, Potsdam and Perry’s Big M, Norwood. Those who cannot attend the concert may still contribute by sending a donation to the Norwood Village Green Concert Series, 3 Bicknell St., Norwood.
