Rabies clinics will be offered through the St. Lawrence County Public Health Department in several locations throughout St. Lawrence County.
The schedule is as follows: Oct. 10 from 5 to 8 p.m.; Human Services Center, 80 SH 310, Canton. Oct. 15 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Ogdensburg Fire Department, 718 Ford St. Oct. 23 from 6 to 7 p.m.; Lisbon Fire Department, County Route 10.
Three Year Vaccinations are available but a current rabies certificate is required and is the only acceptable proof for an animal to receive a three-year vaccination certificate.
According to NYS law, the rabies tag is NOT acceptable proof of a previous vaccination.
Dogs and cats must be at least three months old to be vaccinated.
Pregnant dogs and cats can be vaccinated.
Animals must have a collar and leash.
Cats must be in an animal carrier or a pillowcase.
