POTSDAM – A rabies clinic for dogs, cats and ferrets will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 15 at the Potsdam Town Barn, 19 Madrid Ave.
Three-year vaccinations will be available only if a current rabies certificate is presented. According to state law, a rabies tag is not acceptable proof.
Animals must be at least three months old and pregnant dogs and cats can be vaccinated. Animals must have a collar and leash; cats must be in a carrier or pillowcase.
Potsdam residents may also license their dogs at the same time. Rate is $5 for spayed and neutered dogs and $15 for unsprayed or unneutered dogs.
