POTSDAM -- A prayer vigil to celebrate International Women’s Day will be held Sunday, March 8, at 3 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church of Potsdam, 42 Elm St.
There will be an inter-faith prayer vigil sponsored by North Country Concerned Clergy for Choice at the First Presbyterian Church of Potsdam.
The prayer service is subtitled “Make It Happen” and during the time spent in prayer and meditation attendees will pray for: pay equity, an end to sexual harassment, protection against violence and discrimination and a protection of a woman’s freedom to make her own health care decisions.
