PITCAIRN -- Harrisville Central School will be staging a practice lockdown drill today, Thursday, Jan. 18, sometime in the early afternoon.
The announcment was made in automated text and phone messages from the superintendent’s office received by parents and district residents this morning.
Superintendent Rob Finster announced that students and teachers were notified of today’s drill.
The school plans to stage another lockdown drill sometime next week, said Finster, but the day and time will not be announced.
