CANTON – The seminar Poverty, Trauma & A Movement For Change will be held March 20, from 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at the Eben Holden Conference Center, St. Lawrence University, 23 Romoda Dr.
The event is open to community organization representatives, educators, and those interested in the topic.
Attendees will have the opportuntity to network and learn more about efforts to address students suffering from poverty and trauma; gain a complete understanding of unique challenges confronting children; and leave with action steps to implement in their own work.
Registration is $25 and includes lunch and a book.
