POTSDAM – The St. Lawrence County Arts Council will host a class about wheel thrown pottery, for ages 14-adult, with Isaac Snell, April 3-5, 6-9 p.m.
Snell will guide students through all the basic skills needed for wheel throwing including clay preparation, proper wedging techniques, centering clay on the wheel, throwing outer and inner walls of a vessel, and trimming and glazing.
Each student will bring home at least 6 beautiful finished pieces.
The class cost for members is $126; for non-members, $148.
