POTSDAM -- The SLC Arts Council, 51 Market St., will offer dance and movement classes during October.
• Cardio Dance for Adults with Devon Butler, Mondays, Oct. 11 to Dec. 20, 8 to 9 p.m. Start with a quick stretch, move into a warm-up and then put together short combinations in this fast paced class set to fun music. Students may enroll in all classes or just the ones that will best fit their schedule. Please specify how many and which classes you plan to attend when you enroll. $110 for 11 weeks or $11 per class.
• "Frillin' Zillin' October" Belly Dance Specialty Class with Basimah, Saturday, Oct. 23, from 2 to 4 p.m. Learn the basic of dancing and playing finger cymbals together. Prior belly dance experience recommended. Class fee: $30. Bring finger cymbals or come early to purchase a set for $20.
