POTSDAM -- In honor of what they are calling “Women's History Month,” SUNY Potsdam's Crane School of Music will present an upcoming concert featuring works by women composers from the 19th century to the present.
The performance will Sunday, March 15 at 7:30 p.m. in the Sara M. Snell Music Theater and includes vocal and instrumental works by Libby Larsen, Ellen Taaffe Zwilich, Clara Schumann and Pauline Viardot, among others, as well as music by the contemporary Adirondack composer Hilary Tann.
Two pieces by current Crane School of Music undergraduates will also be performed.
Admission is free.
