POTSDAM -- The Congregation Beth El will be host its 37th Food Festival on Sunday, Nov. 15, from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the synagogue, 81 Market St.
The main floor of the temple will serve as a bakery and gift shop. The bakery features fresh breads and challah for purchase from Montreal, as well as home baked foods. The gift shop has a variety of Hanukkah items such as candles, dreidels, menorahs, decorations and jewelry. Also available will be gifts for adults and children of all ages - get your holiday shopping done early!
A buffet-style lunch will be served featuring traditional latkes and blintzes, bagels and cream cheese, soup with matzo balls, hummus, potato knishes, falafel in pita and delicious kugel. There will be New York style cheesecake and flaky rugelach available for dessert.
