POTSDAM -- Potsdam Youth Basketball will hold registration sessions on Oct. 1 and 5.
Each will be in the A.A. Kingston Middle School lobby. Oct 1 will go from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and Oct. 5 will go from 10 a.m. to noon.
They will also take mail-in registration through Oct. 15. Send applications to PYBA, P.O. Box 96, Potsdam, NY 13676.
All local boys and girls enrolled in kindergarten through sixth grade are eligible. No prior experience is necessary. For players entering grades 2 to 6, the cost is $45 for the first player and $20 for the second, with a maximum of $75 per family. For kindergarten and first graders, the cost is $25 per player.
Practices start Oct. 20 and go through December. There is a mandatory meeting for all parents at their child's group's first practice.
The Saturday Morning League, for boys and girls in grade 5 and 6, starts in November. The traveling team's season starts in December.
