As a professor of music and associate dean at Arizona State, Stauffer has extensive experience in music teacher education, creativity and composition. During her visit to Crane, Stauffer will share her expertise with both undergraduate and graduate music education courses, and in two public lectures.
Her first address will focus on creativity, and will be offered on Nov. 6 at 4 p.m. in the Learning & Technology Excellence Center (LTEC), located in the College's Frederick W. Crumb Memorial Library. Stauffer will also speak about core principles in music teacher education, on Nov. 7 at 4 p.m. in the Helen M. Hosmer Concert Hall.
