POTSDAM -- Clarkson University’s Department of Humanities and Social Sciences will host its seventh annual Humanities & Social Sciences Undergraduate Research Conference Friday, April 10.
The conference will take place in the Student Center Multi-purpose Rooms from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will feature presentation sessions as well as a gallery space with creative projects.
Admission is free. Student presentations will take up themes of local and global significance, such as gender, warfare, music, literature, health care, the environment, language and more.
Topics include the reign of Henry VIII; the life and death of the Buddha; the South African Truth and Reconciliation Commission; the electric car industry; and constructions of gender in epic poetry.
