POTSDAM -- Potsdam resident and singer-songwriter Galen Curry, along with cousins Tommy and Jimmy, return home for a concert March 22 at SUNY Potsdam's Snell Music Theater.
“The Currys” which includes Potsdam resident Galen Curry, will host the cd pre-release party at 7 p.m. in celebration of the release of their first record “Follow,” which will officially be released on April 29.
“The Currys” incorporate elements of country, bluegrass, blues and rock into their thoughtful songwriting.
Their music is characterized by rich vocals and charismatic live performances that keep you on your feet. For this concert, “The Currys” will be backed by a full band.
The band recently concluded a tour of Ireland and are now touring the U.S. in support of their new album.
While the show is free, seating is limited and tickets are required. Tickets are available at either North Country Neighbors location, 6 Main St. Potsdam and 21 Miner St. in Canton.
The band will have copies of their CD for sale at the show.
