POTSDAM -- Potsdam Rotary will to hold a prospective member mixer Sept. 27, from 5-7 p.m. at the Blue Line Brewery, 43 Maple St.
Rotary brings together the kind of people who step forward to take on important issues for local communities worldwide, said a Rotary press release. Rotarians contribute their time, energy and passion to sustainable, long-term projects in local communities across the globe, the press release said.
At the mixer, Rotarians will speak about club projects and the history of the club, which serves the greater Potsdam area. Appetizers and beverages will be served.

The Potsdam Rotary Club was established in 1928. Today it performs hands-on service projects and fund-raising for local, regional, and international causes.
The club meets each Wednesday at noon at the Elks Lodge in Potsdam.
