POTSDAM -- An open house to celebrate the retirement of Janet Moore who worked at the Potsdam Public Library for 47 years will be held Sunday, Aug. 30 from 2 until 4 p.m.
Moore started working at the library as a library page, moving with the library to its present location in 1976.
She retires as a library assistant, having served as head of reference for many years. She plans to spend her future traveling around the country which she says she has always wanted to do.
