POTSDAM -- The Potsdam Public Library, 2 Park St., will offer new classes on Facebook, identity theft, credit scores, debt and budgets.
The class for Facebook will be held Nov. 2 from 3 until 4:30 p.m. covering the creation of a Facebook account, terminology, settings and more. Participants must be familiar with the internet and have an email address.
An identity theft class will be presented by a certified credit counselor on Nov. 4 from 10 to 11 a.m. Learn how to protect yourself and what to do if you have been a victim.
Learn about credit scores and why it is important from 1 until 1 p.m on Nov. 4.
“How to Get Out of Debt” will be offered from 10 until 11 a.m. on Nov. 9. Learn how to prioritize debt and stick to spending plans.
“Surviving on a Limited Budget” is set for Nov. 9 from 1 until 2 p.m. and will offer tups on how to survive on a limited budget.
