POTSDAM -- The Potsdam Library’s Public Computer Center, 2 Park St., will host a class to help non-profit organizations prepare to apply for grant funding on April 2 from 1 to 4 p.m.
The class will be held in the Community Meeting Room of the Potsdam Civic Center and will provide an introduction to finding and applying for grant funds.
This will include a formal presentation, discussion and time for questions. Small groups will be able to do some brainstorming. Topics covered will include whether your organization and project are eligible for funding, how to present your needs, the basics of planning a budget, how to organize your application and whether your application is “grant ready.
Individuals with a plan to implement a community service project of any kind are welcome to attend. There is no fee, but preregistration is required at 265-7230 or pcc@potsdamlibrary.org.
