POTSDAM -- Potsdam Presbyterian Church, corner of Elm and Leroy streets, is offering a time for silent prayer and meditation on Sunday mornings from 9:15 to 9:45 a.m. beginning April 12.
Silent prayer and meditation are universal practices across all religions, including Christianity.
People who have an established practice of silent prayer or meditation and those who are interested in starting this kind of spiritual practice are encouraged to participate.
No experience necessary. Written guidelines will be available and brief introductory remarks will be shared.
The group will meet in 2 p.m. in the community center behind the church. All are welcome.
